Sitting pretty above the channel

This project involves a contemporary addition to an existing dwelling located on a large rural property south of Hobart. The bold addition has been clearly articulated from the existing dwelling in a respectful manner and contains a new kitchen and dining/lounge with the rest of the house being altered internally to provide a more open and efficient living area.

Particular care has been taken with both the building’s form and orientation to take advantage of an expansive outlook down D'Entrecasteaux Channel.
