The Farrall Centre, The Friends' School

A place for the whole school to gather

A place for the whole school to gather, this building embodies the Quaker ethos of the school – a simple but confident building, befitting the central role it is to play in the life of the school. The design concept is driven by a direct expression of the building function and the unification of the existing campus buildings and topography. Spaces are designed for maximum versatility – exhibition, teaching and recording areas are arranged around the central auditorium, seating up to 800 people in various modes with the capacity to transform into a large function room.
