Emma O Neill

M Arch, BA Sc

Having graduated with her Master of Architecture from University College Cork in 2016, Emma spent three years working in practices in Cork and Dublin in Ireland before moving to Australia in 2019 to try something new. She spent her first year working in Melbourne, and travelled the length and breadth of Victoria before moving to Hobart in 2020.

Emma brings with her, experience in a vast range of architectural sectors, such as educational, civic and commercial, but has a keen interest in public realm and multi-residential architecture. Passionate and enthusiastic, she feels right at home designing buildings for the rugged Tasmanian landscape and climate as it reminds her of Ireland.

Emma hopes her choice of Irish folk tunes for the record player become part of the IDW playlist, and she brightens the office with her cracking colloquialisms.
